| Drug | CYP interaction | Clinical consequences |
| (S)-warfarin - MANY drug interactions occur, but it appears safe with ACE inhibitors, calcium channel blockers, beta blockers, and cardiac glycosides. Before you use ANY drug with warfarin, you should check for a possible interaction (including non-CYP interactions). | CYP2C9 : low activity (congenital or acquired) | e.g. 10 times increased effect |
| CYP2C9 : increased metabolism of warfarin due to 2C9 induction by e.g. rifampicin | ineffective (thrombotic complications) | |
| (R) - warfarin | metabolised by 1A2, 2C19 | (R) warfarin is far less important in warfarin effect, but inhibition or induction of these CYPs may possibly interfere! |
